When you donate to disaster relief for Hurricanes Helene and Milton October 27-November 2, we’ll match your donation up to $10,000. To donate, let your cashier know how much you’d like to add to your receipt. The self-checkout stations temporarily have a $5 donation button.
All money raised will be given to GlobalGiving for their Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton Relief Funds. It will use the funds to:
- Provide food, water, and emergency medical supplies to people and animals
- Support temporary relief and emergency supplies for displaced families
- Provide support to frontline workers
- Meet other needs that emerge

The funds from the Co-op match will come from abandoned equity, which is money Owners invested to join the Co-op but that they did not claim before leaving. Owners have the right to request the invested equity be returned to them if they end their Ownership.
