Rhubarb Compote

Incredible served still slightly warm over simple vanilla ice cream.

Time: Preparation 15 minutes

Serving: 3 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds rhubarb
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 1/8 cup cane sugar

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve warm or cold.
