The Board meets 8–10 times a year, meetings are virtual, 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Every Wednesday after Memorial Day to Labor Day Willy East will have free acoustic music and songs from a local musician in our Rain Garden on the Jenifer Street side of the store. Bring your chair or a blanket, sit back and enjoy!

This week we have Jeff Burkhart. He is a songwriter and performer who has been featured onPBS Wisconsin, and has performed at theWaterfront Festival,High Noon Saloon,Willy Street Fair, The Bur Oak,Harmony Bar, and many other venues.

Growing up in small town Indiana, he cut class to find adventures on the backroads, bounced around in North Carolina for a couple of years, then landed in Madison WI, where he found many great musical collaborators in various bands playing locally and regionally at coffeeshops, barrooms, taverns and outdoor festivals.

The Dirty Shirts’ albumTwo-Dollar Turpentineis a Madison honky-tonk classic of his original songs and was selected as one of the best albums of the year byIsthmusin 2010.

His latest album,Just a Kidwas entirely self-recorded in a beautifully open old warehouse on the near eastside of Madison and was released in April of 2022.

Class Refund Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the description of the event, registration for events that Willy Street Co-op cancels will be refunded in full. Individuals who wish to cancel their registration for events must contact Customer Service with 72 hours notice to receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 72 hours of an event. In order to cover costs incurred there are absolutely no exceptions to the Refund Policy.
