Tribe 9 Foods, based in Madison, is the culmination of creative culinary minds who care about our community and came together to make great food locally for their three brands: Taste Republic, Yumbutter and RP’s Pasta.

Each brand was founded with purpose, from Taste Republic’s mission to make fresh, gluten-free pasta that tastes like traditional pasta, to Yumbutter’s commitment to produce organic, ethically sourced nut butters. Today, while they make different foods, they’re deeply connected through their passion for sustainability and community under Tribe 9, as a certified B Corp.

Whether it’s running their plant on 100% solar power or helping young kids with gluten-sensitivity attend special summer camps, the mission is as important as what they put on our plates.

“What drives us every day is to create pastas and nut butters people feel good about eating, while simultaneously building a local business that’s tangibly invested in our employees and the communities,” said Brian Durst, Tribe 9 Foods CEO. “For all of us, balancing profit with purpose is at the core of everything we do. Because, yes, it’s possible to make really good food AND do it the right way.”
