Madison Chocolate Company is an independent, woman-owned chocolate shop with two cafes in the Madison area. Megan, the owner of Madison Chocolate, began hand-making chocolates in 2010 with the vision of creating confections that are full of intention. “I have always valued ingredients that are high quality, locally sourced, GMO free and full of flavor,” Megan says. Building the business from a small CSA model, she began with monthly chocolate subscriptions.

In 2017, Megan and co-owner Bridgette opened up the first brick and mortar store on the corner of Monroe and Glenway Street. They strive to bring the best service to their clients, create local working relationships with other small business owners, and promote a healthy working environment while producing high-quality chocolates, delicious coffee, and gluten-free bakery for the community to enjoy. Five years later, Megan and Bridgette opened their second location on Odana Road to produce higher volumes of chocolate, and bakery, while still growing their vision. Check out Madison Chocolate Confections, which range from decadent truffles to flavorful barks; they’re available at Willy Street Co-op stores along with both Madison Chocolate locations!
