- 6 parsnips
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/4 c flour
- 1/2 t seasoning salt
Butter Fried Parsnips Directions
- Cook parsnips in boiling water until tender, about 10 minutes. Set aside
- In a large container with a cover, combine the flour and seasoning salt.
- Dip the parsips in melted butter, and transfer to the container of seasoned flour. Cover tightly, and shake to coat the parsnips. Remove the parsnips, and set aside.
- Heat the remaing butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. When it starts to sizzle, add the parsnips. Cook, turning occasionally, until all sides are golden-brown.
- Enjoy while hot!
